This super deluxe B&D Silver Bell #5 pearloid extravaganza was made for and used by Chick Bullock, a popular vocalist and band leader who performed under the pseudonym of "Sleepy Hall." Thirty years ago, friend and mentor, Jon Lundberg, told me that there would come a time when I'd come to understand and appreciate these flashy combinations of gold, engraving, plastic and paint. He was so right!
