At a time when collectors appear to prize "originality" above all, here's one to ponder. Because of its modification and relatively poor condition, it might be considered valueless. Except, that is, for the fact that a previous owner "defiled" it with folksy illustrations. Now, however, it's a really cool relic with a lot to say for itself.

Undoubtedly decorated by a sailor, this guitar has an enduring folk art quality.
