This great sounding and all original Gibson tenor guitar is one of the early series of flat top guitars that raises the question, "What's that extra bridge pin for, anyhow?" Was it a production device, for locating the bridge while gluing? Was it supposed to strengthen the bridge to top joint? Does anyone know?
