1932 Selmer "Modele Jazz"

This 1932 Selmer guitar bears serial number 85, making it the earliest Maccaferri designed guitar appearing in the Selmer ledger book. It still has its original internal resonator baffles, and all the other original appointments.

The great gypsy guitarist, Django Reinhardt, is certainly the reason we remember the Selmer guitars, although he played a later model which had a small oval hole, and no internal baffles.
