It's gold plated!
Muessehl & Westphal Saw

Here's something you don't see every day - a gold plated musical saw. Made by the Wisconsin firm of Muessehl & Westphal in the 1920s, it has its original canvas case. You have to like the original rhinestones in the handle! This saw has teeth, but they have not been set or sharpened, for obvious reasons. I understand that Muessehl & Westphal make about 500 musical saws a year these days.
